Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
An apiary has hives. Each hive gives kg of honey in a season, and the honey sells at rupees for each kg. Keeping each hive for the season costs rupees. Find the honey harvested, the income and the profit.
Four honeybees live in India: Apis cerana indica, Apis dorsata, Apis florea and Apis mellifera, the Italian bee. Honey and wax come from an apiary. The flowers within reach of the apiary are its pasturage, which decides the quality of the honey. Profit is income minus cost.
