Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
Name the four parts of blood and give one job of each.
Connective tissue has cells spread in a matrix. Blood: plasma, red cells, white cells, platelets. Ligament: bone to bone. Tendon: muscle to bone. Cartilage is flexible; adipose tissue stores fat.
Have you tried it?
Work it out on paper first. It is fine to get stuck or make a mistake: that is how we learn. When you are ready, go through the solution one step at a time, and check each step against your own.
Plasma: carries food, wastes and hormones.
Red blood cells: carry oxygen with haemoglobin.
White blood cells: fight germs.
Platelets: help the blood clot at a cut.
