Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
Say where in the cell each stage of aerobic respiration takes place.
Pyruvic acid enters the matrix. The link reaction gives acetyl CoA, carbon dioxide and NADH. In the Krebs cycle, acetyl CoA (2C) joins OAA (4C) to give citric acid (6C). Each turn releases 2 carbon dioxide and forms 3 NADH, 1 FADH and 1 ATP. One glucose gives 2 pyruvic acid and so 2 turns.
Have you tried it?
Work it out on paper first. It is fine to get stuck or make a mistake: that is how we learn. When you are ready, go through the solution one step at a time, and check each step against your own.
Step 1. (a) Glycolysis: the cytoplasm.
Step 2. (b) The link reaction: the matrix of the mitochondrion.
Step 3. (c) The Krebs cycle: the matrix.
Step 4. (d) The electron transport system: the inner membrane of the mitochondrion.
Answer: (a) cytoplasm; (b) matrix; (c) matrix; (d) inner membrane.
