Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
Name the part of a neuron that (a) receives a message, (b) carries the message away, (c) holds the nucleus, (d) passes the message to the next cell.
Skeletal muscle: striped, voluntary. Smooth: not striped, involuntary. Cardiac: striped, branched, involuntary. Neurons: dendrites receive, the axon carries the message away.
Have you tried it?
Work it out on paper first. It is fine to get stuck or make a mistake: that is how we learn. When you are ready, go through the solution one step at a time, and check each step against your own.
(a) The dendrites.
(b) The axon.
(c) The cell body.
(d) The nerve endings, at the end of the axon.
