Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
Name the kind of epithelium found in each place: (a) the lining of the small intestine, (b) the tubules of the kidney, (c) the lining of the windpipe, (d) the wall of a capillary.
Epithelium covers and lines. Squamous: flat. Cuboidal: cube. Columnar: tall. Ciliated: with cilia that sweep mucus.
Have you tried it?
Work it out on paper first. It is fine to get stuck or make a mistake: that is how we learn. When you are ready, go through the solution one step at a time, and check each step against your own.
(a) Columnar epithelium.
(b) Cuboidal epithelium.
(c) Ciliated columnar epithelium.
(d) Squamous epithelium, one thin layer.
