Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
Say what kind of data each one is: categorical or numerical, and then nominal, ordinal, discrete or continuous.
Categorical data is a word or a label: nominal with no order, ordinal with an order. Numerical data is a number: discrete if we count it, continuous if we measure it. A number used as a label, such as a PIN code, is categorical.
Have you tried it?
Work it out on paper first. It is fine to get stuck or make a mistake: that is how we learn. When you are ready, go through the solution one step at a time, and check each step against your own.
Step 1. Labels. (a) colour is categorical, nominal: colours have no order. (d) T-shirt size is categorical, ordinal: S, M, L and XL have an order. (e) a PIN code is categorical, nominal: it is made of digits, but it is a label.
Step 2. Counts. (b) the number of children is numerical, discrete.
Step 3. Measurements. (c) a speed and (f) a temperature are numerical, continuous.
