Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
Find the mean, the median and the mode of the temperatures on the rainy days.
The month, in degrees Celsius: , , , , , . It rained on days , to and to . The mean is the total divided by how many values there are. Total = mean count. The median is the middle value of the sorted list. With an even number of values, it is halfway between the two middle ones. The mode is the value that appears most often. It works for words too.
Have you tried it?
Work it out on paper first. It is fine to get stuck or make a mistake: that is how we learn. When you are ready, go through the solution one step at a time, and check each step against your own.
Step 1. Mean. The total is , so the mean is .
Step 2. Median. With ten values, halfway between the 5th and the 6th: .
Step 3. Mode. and each appear three times, so there are two modes.
