Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
Name the group of plants for each: (a) Ulva, a sea lettuce, (b) Funaria, a moss, (c) a horsetail, (d) a deodar tree, (e) maize.
Thallophyta: no root, stem or leaf. Bryophyta: no vascular tissue. Pteridophyta: vascular tissue, spores, no seeds. Gymnosperms: naked seeds. Angiosperms: seeds in fruits; monocots have one cotyledon, dicots two.
Have you tried it?
Work it out on paper first. It is fine to get stuck or make a mistake: that is how we learn. When you are ready, go through the solution one step at a time, and check each step against your own.
(a) Ulva: no root, stem or leaf. Thallophyta.
(b) Funaria: no vascular tissue. Bryophyta.
(c) Horsetail: vascular tissue, but spores and no seeds. Pteridophyta.
(d) Deodar: naked seeds in cones. Gymnosperms.
(e) Maize: seeds in fruits, one cotyledon. Angiosperms (a monocot).
