Find f(x) = 1/x² for x = 0.2, 0.02, 20 and -20.

Find $f(x) = \dfrac{1}{x^2}$ for $x = 0.2$ , $0.02$ , $20$ and $-20$ . What do the numbers say about the graph near $x = 0$ and far from it?

$f(x - h) + k$ moves the graph $h$ right and $k$ up; $a\,f(x)$ stretches the heights; $f(-x)$ and $-f(x)$ reflect it. Even: $f(-x) = f(x)$ . Odd: $f(-x) = -f(x)$ .
