Try it on paper first. A hint, the key idea and the worked solution are here when you need them.
Which tool would you suggest in each case? (a) A beginner who wants simple buttons for running a program. (b) A student who already has Python on Windows and wants the simplest editor that comes with it. (c) Someone who builds large projects and wants many extra tools.
IDLE comes with Python. Thonny is for beginners. Visual Studio Code is for bigger projects.
Have you tried it?
Work it out on paper first. It is fine to get stuck or make a mistake: that is how we learn. When you are ready, compare your working with the solution.
Any of them can run the programs in this book.
