The remainder theorem says that dividing by leaves the remainder . You will divide by synthetic division and put the two side by side in a table.
The idea. Synthetic division: bring down the first coefficient; then, for each next coefficient, add times the last number. The last number is the remainder.
Your tasks.
divide, return the pair (quotient, remainder).table with (a, remainder, value) for , for .same to True if, on every row, the remainder equals the value.Have you tried it?
Do the tasks in the editor first, and run the checker after each one. Its hints help when a check fails. When you are ready, compare your code with this solution.
