Each chromosome below is given by the lengths of its short arm and its long arm, in micrometres. You will name each one from where its centromere lies, count how many there are of each kind, and list the telocentric ones.
The idea. Work out the short arm's share of the whole length. Use these rough cut-offs: a share of 0 is telocentric, below 0.2 acrocentric, below 0.4 sub-metacentric, and the rest metacentric.
Your tasks.
kind(short, long) so that it returns the name.counts with each name and how many chromosomes have it.telocentric to a list of the chromosomes with no short arm.Have you tried it?
Do the tasks in the editor first, and run the checker after each one. Its hints help when a check fails. When you are ready, compare your code with this solution.
